Annual Directors Awards for 2009
Prof Peter Klineberg announced the recipients of the annual Director's Awards for 2009.
Congratulations go to:
Dr Anne Jaumees for her major contribution as a Supervisor of Training, the weekly teaching program and registrar recruitment.
Dr Orision Kim was awarded the Robert Dean award. This is for academic contributions made by a registrar. Orision presented a poster at the Australian Society of Anaesthetists annual meeting in Darwin on the use of Propofol with whole lung lavage for alveolar proteinosis.
Dr Bill McMeniman was acknowledged on his contribution to the department after 30 years of continuous service. Bill joined the department in 1979 when the hospital had been open for one year.
