This patient presents with severe AR in a previously replaced prosthetic aortic valve.
Note flow reversal in the descending aorta seen in the pulse wave doppler of the descending aorta and its exaggerated pulsatility seen in the short axis of view of the descending aorta.
The measured pressure half time of the CW spectral doppler was < 90sec consistent with severe aortic regurgitation.
