Evening Cover.Our estimates for on call for 2003 are that each junior trainee will be required to do one evening shift per week. This estimate is to a degree a worst case estimate. There will certainly be weeks when you do not do evenings. In particular we aim to reduce the workload significantly for trainees approaching exams. As a result of this, the heaviest on call will always be for those not sitting exams in the lead up to primary and fellowship exams. Evenings run until 2200 hours, with a half hour overlap from 2130 with the night team for handover. |
