Junior Trainee Terms at Westmead Hospital.

Structure of terms.

Terms at Westmead Hospital are three months long.

During each term you will be allocated predominantly to the area during normal working hours.

Anaesthetic Terms:

  • Cardiac
  • Dental
  • General
  • Neuroanaesthesia
  • Obstetric and Pain

Intensive Care Terms:

  • General ICU
  • Neonatal ICU

After hours on call during each term.

After hours you will participate in the general on call roster.  Details of this are in the "After Hours" section.

Note - ICU and NICU have their own after hours arrangements. During these terms you will not normally be on the general roster for anaesthesia.
