2.3 Resuscitation

2.3.1 The Department is responsible for the teaching of cardiopulmonary resuscitation at all levels within the hospital.

2.3.2 To enable satisfactory coverage of the entire hospital staff, medical, nursing and others, members of the department are required to participate in teaching from time to time.

2.3.3 Certain members of the department form part of the cardiac arrest teams of the hospital. However, even if not part of the regular team, members should respond to emergency calls if not otherwise occupied at the time.
