3. AFTER HOURS

3.1 The consultant is to be called directly for all anaesthetic services to private patients.

3.2 The anaesthetic registrar is to be called for all anaesthetic services to hospital patients. If the anaesthetic registrar is busy with other duties, or the provision of the service is beyond his/her capability, it will be his/her responsibility to call the consultant for help.
